The Award Winning Hip Pickles are 6-time National D.C.A. World Drum Champions. Celebrating their 20th Year, the Hip Pickles present their new show "Zap-Boom-Bam!". This show is a novel and unique presentation, featuring 6-percussionists, in the most incredible exhibition of drumming you will see anywhere! This hi-energy performance showcases the groups incredible timing and technique and will absolutely leave your audiences in awe. The show combines original compositions and pop standards, all choreographed and presented in a high-spirited, fast-moving, tongue-in-cheek, good time family presentation. The Pickles regularly perform at corporate, sports events and special events such as the opening of the U.N. Peace Summit, and the Premier of Disney’s “Hercules”. As well they have performed for several major corporations including American Express, Glaxo-Wellcome and Federal Express, and regularly appear at professional sports events including pre-game and halftime shows for the NBA, NHL and are the house band for the New York Dragons of the Arena Football League. Television appearances include: Regis & Kathy Lee, the Charles Perez Show, Oddville MTV, the NBC Christmas Special at Rockefeller Center and FOX’s “30 Seconds to Fame”.
